CMTG’s Backup as a Service combines Veeam’s recovery orchestration with IBM Safeguarded Copy immutability technology to create a backup capability that goes significantly beyond what standard managed backup arrangements deliver. The backups are immutable, meaning they cannot be altered, encrypted, or deleted by anyone including CMTG. They are application-aware, meaning they capture the entire application state rather than just the files. And they are stored in air-gapped vaults that are physically isolated from the production environment. When a recovery is needed, it is fast because the backup is clean, verified, and complete.
