Leading IT solutions provider CMTG has been appointed as an Information and Communications Technology Preferred Supplier with Western Australian Local Government Association (WALGA) for a wide range of capabilities.
WALGA is an independent, member-based, not-for-profit organisation representing and supporting the WA local government sector.
The Preferred Supplier Program (PSP) is a procurement option for WALGA Members to purchase goods, services and works from a range of pre-qualified suppliers, comprising 12 Panels including Information and Communications Technology.
The Local Government Regulations provide a tender exemption for purchases through the PSP, meaning members can engage preferred suppliers without the need for a lengthy tender process, saving significant time and resources.
The recognition underscores CMTG’s commitment to delivering innovative, secure, and high-quality technology and cyber security services, and will expand the Company’s access to a broader range of contract opportunities within local government councils and associated entities across WA. Preferred suppliers are often prioritised for procurement and are regularly informed of upcoming tenders or projects.
Being on WALGA’s preferred supplier list means that CMTG has met WALGA’s rigorous standards for quality, security, and reliability – signally compliance with industry standards.
